Miran huddled in the cardboard box, his small body trembling. The wind whipped around him, carrying with it the mournful wail of a stray cat. Today was his birthday, a day that should have been filled with joy and excitement, but instead, he was alone, abandoned.
He remembered the day his owner had brought him home. The man had cradled him in his arms, his voice filled with love and tenderness. Miran had felt safe and cherished. But then, one day, without warning, his owner had placed him in this box, a cold and unforgiving world.
Miran’s heart ached with longing. He hoped that his owner would return, that he would realize his mistake and take him back. Today, on his birthday, Miran clung to this hope with all his might. He imagined his owner walking down the road, a smile on his face. He would call Miran’s name, and the little puppy would leap into his arms, his tail wagging furiously.
Hours passed, and the sun began to set. The wind howled louder, and Miran shivered. His hope was fading, replaced by a growing despair. He closed his eyes, tears welling up in his big, brown eyes. Just as he was about to give up, he heard a familiar sound. It was a voice, calling his name.
Miran pricked up his ears. Could it be? He peered out of the box and saw a figure approaching. It was his owner! Joy surged through Miran’s heart as he barked excitedly. His owner knelt down and scooped him up, cradling him close.
“I’m so sorry, Miran,” his owner said, his voice filled with remorse. “I made a big mistake. I’ll never leave you again.” Miran licked his owner’s face, his tail wagging furiously. He had finally found his home again, and his birthday had turned into the most magical day of his life.
