I know I’m not perfect but I still hope to receive everyone’s wishes on my birthday today

Tus, a scruffy mutt with a swollen leg, sat in the corner of the park, his head down. Today was his birthday, but there was no festive atmosphere to celebrate. He was a dog who was often overlooked, his appearance not as aesthetically pleasing as other dogs.

Tus had always felt different. The other dogs would sometimes snarl at him or avoid him altogether, their eyes filled with disdain. But despite their rejection, Tus had never given up hope. He believed that one day, someone would see past his physical imperfections and appreciate him for who he was.

As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the park, Tus watched the other dogs playing happily. He longed to join them, to feel the joy and camaraderie that they shared. But he knew that his appearance would be a barrier.

Just as Tus was about to give up, he heard a soft voice calling his name. He looked up and saw a little girl approaching. She had a kind smile and gentle eyes. “Happy birthday, Tus,” she said, offering him a piece of bread.

Tus hesitated, his tail tucked between his legs. He had never been approached by a human before, especially one who seemed so friendly. But he was hungry, and the bread smelled delicious. He cautiously took the food and ate it slowly.

As the girl sat beside him, petting his soft fur, Tus felt a warmth spread through his body. For the first time in a long time, he felt loved and accepted. He realized that it didn’t matter how he looked on the outside. What truly mattered was the kindness and compassion that people showed him.

Tus’s birthday had turned into a day of hope and joy. He knew that he would always be different, but he also knew that he was loved. And that was all that truly mattered.
