A Life Disrupted
Ally, a Greyhound, lived a happy life for three years with her family and two canine brothers, Jim and Frank. However, the arrival of a new baby drastically changed their circumstances. Unable to cope with the changes, the family surrendered all three dogs to Clarks Farm Greyhound Rehoming Centre.
A Devastating Loss
The transition to the shelter was particularly difficult for Ally. Having known only the comfort of a loving home, she became deeply depressed in the unfamiliar and noisy shelter environment. The separation from her brother Frank, who required separate care due to a leg injury, further compounded her distress. Despite numerous appeals from the rescue center on social media, Ally and Jim have been consistently overlooked by potential adopters. Their black coats, unfortunately, contribute to this neglect, as black dogs are often adopted less frequently. The shelter staff emphasizes that both dogs are incredibly sweet and deserve a loving home.

Ally and Jim share an unbreakable bond and would thrive best if adopted together. They seek a calm and quiet environment with adult humans and no other pets. The rescue center continues to advocate for these deserving dogs, hoping that they will soon find a forever home where they can rediscover the love and security they once knew.
