Hanni, a pure black puppy with eyes as dark as the night sky, was a bundle of joy. His soft, black fur was a stark contrast to his playful spirit. Every day, he would bounce around the house, his tail wagging with excitement. Today, however, was different. It was Hanni’s birthday, and the usually cheerful puppy felt a strange emptiness in his heart.
Usually, his human mom would shower him with affection on his birthday. She’d bake him special treats, throw him a small party, and fill the house with birthday songs. But today, there was no party, no treats, and no singing. His mom had simply complimented his coat, saying, “You look so cute, Hanni!” But it wasn’t enough.
As the day wore on, Hanni’s sadness grew. He wandered aimlessly around the house, his tail drooping low. He missed the attention, the love, and the celebration that usually accompanied his birthday. He curled up in his favorite spot, his small body trembling. Tears, silent and unseen, rolled down his furry cheeks.
In the quiet of the night, Hanni lay awake, his heart heavy. He wondered if anyone remembered his birthday. Perhaps he had been forgotten. As the moon cast its silvery glow through the window, Hanni closed his eyes, a single tear escaping. He whispered a silent wish to the stars, hoping that someday, someone would remember his special day.
